What are the best books for further TEFL development?
We often get asked by our TEFL trainees which TEFL books they should read in order to improve their teaching or further their understanding of grammar and Use of English.
Here is a comprehensive list of references:
“700 Classroom Activities”: Ideal for group teaching and last-minute lesson planning. This is a great source of inspiration for basing lessons around particular vocabulary or grammar points.
“Practical English Usage” by Mickael Swan: This is great for native speakers of English and proficient non-native users of English (Advanced or Proficient learners of English). This book is great to develop your confidence as a teacher of EFL.
